My current work explores the potential of virtual media to create a space where imagery from memory, history, and the imagination, can be experienced with nearly tangible presence. For the past decade I have produced projects merging an interest in documentation and representation, based on my background in drawing and photography, with technology based forms of presentation and interaction. I am interested in creating a hybrid experience where the virtual coexists with the physical world, working with an expanded definition of authentic experience.
In current projects, I draw from different forms of image making including photography, computer-generated imagery, and Augmented Reality, to produce images that blur the line between depiction and illusion, and installations where the virtual and the physical can be experienced simultaneously.
